A new ground today. Thorn Athletic WOS 3 Dalry Thistle FC Official 2. A really good setup and miles ahead of some of the other newer WoS teams in terms of the ground. Decent locals too! It was great to catch up with big mad Kevin after way too long.
𝙏𝙃𝙄𝙍𝘿 𝘿𝙄𝙑𝙄𝙎𝙄𝙊𝙉 𝙍𝙊𝙐𝙉𝘿-𝙐𝙋 || We consolidate our position at the top after yesterday’s win over Dalry. Attention now turns to the cup with back to back ties against Crossgates Primrose Football Club & Ashfield F&AC With a league game away to Lugar Boswell Thistle FC rounding off September.

𝙋𝙍𝙀𝙏𝙀 𝙂𝙍𝙀𝙀𝙉 𝙀𝙔𝙀𝙎 || We are through to the the third round of the CarMatKings South Challenge Cup after a superb second-half fightback. We were trailing 2-0 at half-time but Lewis Steele and two penalties from Jamie Prete secured our place in the next round.
𝙈𝙀𝙉 𝙈𝘼𝙏𝙏𝙀𝙍 || We welcomed Peter and James from Men Matter Scotland along to Thorn Athletic Sports Academy on Saturday. They are a suicide prevention charity and were handing out literature and chatting to spectators. We'd like to thank them for the vital work they do.
𝙅𝙐𝙉𝙄𝙊𝙍 𝘾𝙐𝙋 𝙁𝙀𝙑𝙀𝙍 || What a moment for our club this weekend as we make history competing in the Scottish Junior FA cup for the first time. We head to Maryhill's Lochburn Park to face Ashfield F&AC in the second round. We'd love to see you there to share the moment.
