Engaging day with SPELD NSW exploring the K-2 English Syllabus. We gained practical knowledge to implement in classrooms and deepened our understanding of student content knowledge and skills. Another great example of schools working together in our Explicit Instruction PLC.

Very proud moment with my Grandfather posthumously being awarded an Order of Australia Medal (OAM). Grandad worked full time at University of Newcastle up until his passing at the age of 93. An unsung hero whose service to Australia has been recognised with one of our highest honours. 🥇

Great day hosting an incredibly productive planning day at GPS for our Explicit Instruction PLC. Setting the stage for a successful year ahead, all focused on enhancing student outcomes through evidence-based pedagogy.

What crashed into our school oval this morning? Fantastic teamwork in crafting an engaging whole school writing stimulus! A perfect end of term activity. Excited to incorporate these writing samples into our curriculum focussed Term 2 SDD.

Started the day reflecting on an amazing term of teaching & learning, visited one of our EI PLC schools, then back to school for planning. Term One wrapped up with our superb Stage 2 & 3 teams.
