Local residents planting shade⛱️🌳 New street trees have been popping up all over the seaside town of #Worthing thanks to the support of local residents and businesses 🙏 We've been delighted to work with Adur & Worthing Councils Council help make their town a greener place to live.

This 🇫🇷 French car park says a lot about the importance of trees for creating shade and cooling in summer 🌞⛱️🌳 We need to be planting MANY more trees in our streets, (yes) car parks & city spaces if we are to adapt to an ever warming climate.

Tree in trouble 🌳🛑 We're often seeing trees that are at high risk of failing as a result of their planting conditions. If you see a tree in trouble please report to your council directly or via an app like FixMyStreet (And chase up if nothing is done). Be a tree friend 💚

Broadband💻 vs street trees🌳 One way to prevent your street ever having trees is to let your broadband supplier lay cable along the pavement edge or in the grass verge. Yes, we need to protect existing trees, but we also need to protect the places where we can plant trees.
