En route to a paleo symposium in southern Taiwan and was reminded of my dad in infrastructure projects he was a part of: filling up water in Taipei (from Feitsui Reservoir), on the metro to Taipei station, and riding the high-speed rail south. Miss you dad! #Builders #Taiwan

The most well-known fossil site in Taiwan is in Zuojhen, Tainan City. The local paleontology museum has an elementary school (train them early!), and a clock that runs backwards in time, because #paleontology is a form of #timetravel !

Spent an action-packed week participating in the 2024 symposium on new perspectives in Taiwan paleontology. The future of paleontology in Taiwan is bright (and may I add, lush); keep your eyes on the scientists doing great work there!
