Well, damn. Just received notification that the Air Canada pilots' strike is likely to go ahead. Even though the strike starts after we are due to fly, Air Canada are potentially cancelling flights up to 3 days beforehand. Hmm. Not sure what to do ☹️Oh well. Will sleep on it.

Hi Air Canada when will you know if you are going to cancel my flight on the 16th? I will have consequential losses ( which I'm certain you won't cover) so need to know sooner rather than later. You won't let me cancel without loss.

Ok, travel chums. Air Canada may or may not cancel our flight next week. They have offered us the chance to rebook the flight a couple of days early (extra faff + accommodation etc costs at our expense). We can't cancel the flight. Or wait and hope they fly. What would you do?
