Training for women-led small and medium enterprises in the poultry, fresh fruits & vegetables value chains, kicked off at Fairway Hotel this morning. The full-day exercise has 40 women entrepreneurs from Kampala and Wakiso, who are beneficiaries of the Women Led Agri-SME Development Support.
Digital Literacy trainer, Andrew KᗩTO has encouraged women-led SMEs to be deliberate and consistent on digital marketing. "Leverage the platforms where most of your target customers are. Create a plan, follow it, and you will realise the results."
The Ambassador of Embassy of the Netherlands in Uganda, Karin Boven has this morning launched the Women Led Agri-SME Development Support at Fairway Hotel, Kampala. 100 women-led Agri-SMEs in different value chains, across various regions, embark on a four-year journey that will accelerate their businesses.

Beneficiaries of Women Led Agri-SME Development Support exhibited products in agro value chains such as Dairy, Coffee, Irish Potatoes, Fruits & Vegetables during the launch on Tuesday. The project aims to enable them comply with pdt standards, food safety practices and access local & regional markets.
