Be more like a Carrion crow, Corvus corone... 💍 Collect shiny things. 🐦 Hop happily down the street for no apparent reason! 🧀 Whatever you eat, eat with joy. 🤪 Scream loudly when you see your friends. What will you do? 🤔

🤪 It's sooo fluffy!! Part of the life cycle of a dandelion, Taraxacum officinale is when the incredibly soft and fluffy head called the capitulum disperse their seeds 🌼 This is an important part of the cycle as dandelions provide an early source for our pollinators.

We've had a sparrowhawk, Accipiter nisus spotted near #seatonwetlands. Gorgeous and one of our smallest birds of prey 🦅 🤓 Did you know that female sparrowhawks can be up to 25% bigger than the male. Which is one of the biggest size differences in any bird. 📸 Sue Smith

🐛 Look at this large green Eyed Hawk moth caterpillar, Smerinthus ocellata we had munching away on a tree sapling. They are similar to the Poplar Hawk moth caterpillar, except thy have a bluish-coloured spike at the rear. 📸 Pete Turner

A lovely group of Ring Plovers, Charadrius hiaticula, both adults and juveniles are at #seatonwetlands. 🤓 The ringed plover mimics raindrops by tapping their feet fast on the ground to attract underground prey! 📸 Pete Turner
