Today is #WorldRangerDay. Let’s celebrate the work that Rangers do to protect nature and our heritage. Meet Mary Coleman, one of our conservation rangers at the National Park, who was busy, checking some of our new native tree plantation enclosures today.

A big thank you to all the Hardy souls that joined us yesterday on our 11km hike along the new Jamesie Well loop. Along the way we stopped off at the McCann cottage (2.5 km in) and at the Wells (5 km in) to sample the pure water that is said to cure kidney stones.

We would like to thank everyone who turned out in the wind and rain at the dancing at the Crossroads/Boxty at the Bothy event at Letterkeen last Monday.  A massive thank you to all that helped make this evening such a great success, celebrating our music, song and dance.
