This is a post I’ve dreaded…. but it’s time. The last 3+ years have been difficult within my playing career, as I have fought consistent nerve issues since my head injury in ‘21. I find more joy in helping others vs. helping myself, and it’s time to do that full-time now.

Kia Tigers' Min-jae Kim 김민재 had too much gyro and a cutty profile on his splitter due to middle finger dominance. Coach @turnergivens adjusted his grip to involve the index finger more, improving the spin direction and consistency.

D1 Senior Jackson Wells was lacking a drift/weight shift, causing him to stay straight up at the top of his leg lift. Coach Jason Foster had him use a slight coil/hip turn to drift down the mound, a technique that has helped his velocity in the past.

Coach @turnergivens noticed that Ki-hoon Kim 김기훈 is more comfortable pronating, which works well for his changeup and fastball. But his slider was backing up and acting more like a cutter. By having him spike his index finger, they took it out of play, letting him use

Improving layback for pitchers 🧐 Some favorites to help open up the shoulder ⬇️ 1. Posterior cuff tissue work 2. Subscap tissue work (ball/hand) 3. Pec minor tissue work (BB smash) 4. T-spine extensions 5. Side-lying t-spine rotation w/ reach 6. Axial

Coach @turnergivens noticed that Hyeon-su Kim 김현수's changeup was solid but inconsistent due to varying pronation. This led to some pitches carrying more than needed or lacking command. Given his strong breaking ball profiles, they experimented with the kick change grip

Athlete Sam Fraiberg Sam Fraiberg continues to kill it, recently punching a 91 and a new PR! We have been making an aggressive push to add velocity after being mostly mid 80s this spring. The most recent unlock came in large part from working on increasing his tempo. He
