If the carbon tax really does end up going down and politicians genuinely care about minimizing costs on individuals then we're pretty much giving up the fight on climate. The entire point of a carbon tax is that it is the single lowest cost way to reduce emissions.

It now appears that intelligent climate policy is impossible in Canada. So, we're going to get either bad climate policy or no climate policy. And, we will all be worse off for it. Dumb, dumb, dumb.

This is the person that let an occupying force take over downtown #Ottawa, and drove our local economy into a billion plus of losses. I almost never say this, but you probably should sit down and shut up.
