I stopped watching the Aussie / Argie game when the score was 20:10. Have no clue how it ended up the way it did. Brilliant for the Argies, but Aussie rugby is on life support. The Lions tour is going to sink the game.

Every team is trying to hack the other. They are dedicating every second to analysing, finding holes in their games & developing plans. It’s what makes the games so exciting because the players/coaches respond in real time when things go pear. Boks had the tactical edge.

Being at the stadium you see how little time the players have to do anything. You’ve got missiles coming at you from all sides, have milliseconds to read what’s in front, then act with the gameplan in mind & natural instinct at heart. Then there’s Kolbe. A defender’s nightmare.

Fans love shiny toys. The reality is that Polly, Manie & Sasha can exist in a squad together. Sasha’s strapped leg impacted his kicking ability & he missed a few. But made up with ball in hand. Basically what Manie does. Really hope Manie gets a run vs Argentina.
