When reading opinions on how to start your Salesforce career…

Be smart.

Vet the source before you follow what they decide to say.

All come from building relations.

Worry less about your resume that gets thrown away and more about how you interact with ppl.

Here’s a tip not many talk about:

Design.

The longer I’ve worked with salesforce the more this is apparent.

You either have to be Picasso and know exactly how to do it in your head

OR

Hilarious.

“Advice from Elon musk”
Likes = 1,500+

“4 tips to instantly improve your resume”
Likes = 10

The more I post on social the easier it is to realize ppl just want to FEEL like they are learning vs. actual application.

5 mistakes I made first starting Salesforce:

- Thinking Trailhead would fully prepare me

- Using Quizlet for cert study

- Not tapping into the community

- Assuming Linkedin was just for old ppl

- Doubting I had value to share online
