Citizens UK’s diverse coalition of civil society leaders and organisations stand united against all forms of hate and violence. We unequivocally condemn the racist and Islamophobic attacks seen across England over the last few days. (1/4)

Our members come together across difference, improving our communities & country. We're of different faiths & none, different ethnicities, immigration statuses. Together, we organise for a better future, standing against hate & violence, racism & Islamophobia, for justice & hope

Spend the day visiting Tyne & Wear Citizens members in Newcastle that have been frightened and intimidated over the last week. Has been good to simply be together to share stories and refreshments. We also chatted about how we organise together.

⚠️ Children & young people are suffering without mental health support. With rising referrals & long waiting lists, we ask for universal #SchoolBasedCounselling - a policy that would change lives & save millions lost to harder-to-access services. theguardian.com/society/articl…
