Having delivered numerous Agribusiness and Policy lectures throughout my doctorate studies, I am thrilled to hear the news today that two students nominated me for a UCD School Ag & Food Teaching Award. These kind words are gratefully appreciated ☘️

Congratulations to EU Commissioner Mairead McGuinness, who today was conferred with an Honorary Doctorate of Science for her outstanding contributions to Irish agriculture. She graduated with a BSc in Agriculture Economics in 1980; the first woman to qualify in the discipline.🎓

It was also a very special day for our undergraduate students as we celebrated our #Classof2024 Congratulations to all of the student and best of luck on the next part of your journey 🎓💙
