Thanks Abiomed for hosting Journal Club on MCS using Impella for fellows and attendings from Orange Park, Mayo Clinic and UF Jacksonville Cardiology Fellowship! We had excellent case presentations by Julien Feghaly, MD, MPH and Thaer Musa on off-label TAVR for severe AI and STEMI complicated by VFib arrest.

In honor of American Heart Month & National Wear Red Day, our team proudly donned red attire to spotlight that cardiovascular disease stands as the leading cause of death among women. Together, we aim to raise awareness & shed light on the existing care gaps in women's health.

Today’s IM Grand Rounds was excellently presented by Dr. Luis Ortega Paz on ANOCA/INOCA/MINOCA. There is still a lot to learn on diagnosis and management of patients with non-obstructive CAD!
