Amid the growing opioid epidemic, seniors from UMD Bioengineering's Team 9 designed a ventilation coach for opioid overdose bystanders. This device, which empowers people to deliver life-saving breaths before EMS arrives, earned them the Dean's Award at our 2024 Capstone Design Expo.
