MCRIC & CESAR Research have received $400k from Office of Crime Prevention & Policy to evaluate MD diversion programs. They’ll analyze data and conduct interviews to enhance substance use and mental health approaches, aiming to connect people to care rather than incarceration. go.umd.edu/1pyd
