Democracy is a verb. We combat authoritarianism through free and fair elections.

While Trump violated his oath of office, it’s up to the voters and juries to decide his fate.

Keeping him off the ballot would be a huge mistake.

The election deniers’ playbook:
1. Spread disinformation.
2. Drive out officials who are experts in elections.
3. Replace experts with conspiracy theorists.
4. Limit transparency and oversight.

The disinformation must stop. Our democracy is on the line.

Breaking: An Iowa man was just sentenced to 2 1/2 years in prison for threatening Maricopa County Supervisor Clint Hickman, telling him in a long voicemail, “We’re gonna hang you.”

U.S. Judge said he hopes this sentencing will deter future threat to election officials.
