I learned this week that there are ways mental illness kills besides suicide. I guess I should’ve known that. My little sister died. We don’t know why yet, exactly, but she had a number of health issues that her anxiety and BPD didn’t let her seek treatment for.

After so many years of worrying that she’d kill herself, she was finally stable these last two. But she still had anxiety and trouble with going to the doctor. She went to sleep last Sunday with an upset stomach, and was gone a few hours later.
