I was wrong. After a few tournaments I can safely say that the format is better without Grief - all Grief decks stayed in the meta and other decks thrive. In my opinion we are one Energy ban away from having a great Modern.

I see a lot of discussion about the ring having to be banned, you can't play anything else etc etc. Format is full of energy aggro. The ring into ring into ring into sweeper is only really good against mardu and boris. The right thing to do imo is nerf them (free fury)

I spent my day working on this deck. After trying a ton of cards, I feel this version is really promising. Impulse is a great glue for Sorin + Vein combo, Murktide is your B plan. I beat Boros 4x in my leagues! 🧛‍♂️🐲

Everyone wanted Daybreak to tone down the challenge prizes a bit (it was literally free to play them and you netted profit even at 2-4 in some cases) but nuking the top8 prizes so much like wtf.

Wow I didn't think of it this way but now losing quarters is gonna feel extra bad (getting ninth will cause physical pain)
