Prof Peter Oakes with a research team of Dr Sarah Parkhouse, Dr Jeremy Penner, and Fr John Saleeb have won a £5000 John Rylands Research Institute and Library pilot grant for the project, "Exploring the Potential Benefits of Rylands Coptic Manuscripts for the Coptic Community in the UK and Internationally".

An interesting reflection on trends in New Testament studies in the UK, insofar as these things are reflected by the work shared at British New Testament Society: the only paper that explicitly mentions women or feminism in the abstract at #BNTS24 is the one Rachel J Miller and I are giving later.
