BZ #USCG STA Erie on their response, last night, to a 19’ Olive Starcraft w/ 2 POB that ran out of gas 2NM north of Geneva, OH. STA RBS launched from STA Ashtabula, arrived, and towed the vessel to Geneva Marina. #SAR

Last night, #USCG STA Kenosha came across a 19’ disabled and adrift into Kenosha sea wall. STA determined the vessel was in distress and took the vessel into tow to South Port Marina.

#USCG SEC Lake Michigan received report of a vessel collision outside the Kenosha break wall, last night. P/C Hula Pie was involved in a collision w/ a S/V who left the scene. STA Kenosha diverted to the scene and took the vessel in tow to South Port Marina. No injuries reported.

Yesterday, #USCG STA Buffalo responded to a disabled and adrift 24’ P/C w/ 5 POB, b/w Peace Bridge and International Railroad Bridge in the Upper Niagara River. P/C was about to hit the rocks on the eastern side. STA arrived and took the P/C in tow to Rich Marine. BZ! #SAR

BZ #USCG STA Niagara for seeing 2 kayakers in the lower #NiagaraRiver just off STA grounds, struggling in adverse weather conditions, yesterday at 6:35 p.m. STA launched RB-M, arrived O/S, embarked the kayakers and their gear aboard then brought them ashore. No medical concerns.

BZ U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary (Official) members on #LakeMichigan for rescuing 3 POB on a jet ski that capsized yesterday at 5:25 p.m. IVO Navy Pier #CoastGuard Auxiliarists assisted getting all 03 POB back on the jet ski and helped them back to the marina #SAR #GreatLakes

BZ #USCG STA Marquette after report received of a capsized Hobie Cat w/ 2 PIW 1NM N of STA on #LakeSuperior yesterday at 4:26 p.m. STA RB-M crew launched, arrived O/S and located 2 persons on top of the overturned Hobie Cat. Both persons embarked the RB-M and returned to shore.

BZ #USCG STA Belle Isle after VHF CH16 call of a disabled 48’ P/C w/ 6 PIW drifting away from their P/C yesterday at 5:03 p.m. Reporting source stated that all persons had PFDs, but they were unable to start their engine to assist. STA RB-S arrived on scene and rescued all 6 PIW

BZ #USCG STA Buffalo on responding to a 19’ disabled vessel w/ 1 POB, adrift IVO the International Peace Bridge. Due to hazardous waters, STA launched, arrived on scene, and placed the vessel in a side-tow to Rich’s Marine in Buffalo, NY. #SAR

#USCG SEC Northern Great Lakes received a report from P/C Freyja of a kayaker in the water IVO Basswood Island w/ their kayak capsized. STA Bayfield arrived on scene to find 2 PIW taken aboard the P/C. STA embarked both PIWs and kayaks to return to STA. No injuries reported. #SAR

Today, #USCG STA Rochester received notification of a capsized S/V w/ 3 PIW IVO Lake Bluff Road. STA launched, arrived on scene and rescued 3 PIWs. All survivors were wearing PFDs. STA transported the survivors to Irondequoit Bay public boat launch to awaiting EMS. BZ STA! #SAR

At 0752EST, #USCG Eastern Great Lakes confirmed that an overdue kayaker in Lake Erie near Cleveland has been rescued. The kayaker was reported as overdue last night and not wearing a PFD. The PIW was forced to tread water for almost 11 hours as crews searched through the night.
