Our SG Véronique Willems emphasised the importance of developing the capacity of #SME #employer organisations to engage in #socialdialogue and the #EUSemester. She also welcomed the template campaign to enhance the representativeness of SME employer organisations after the #COVID crisis

Joined by EU Social 🇪🇺’s Deputy Director-General Stefan Olsson, we discussed the involvement of #SMEs in EU #SocialDialogue and the follow-up to the #ValDuchesse Declaration, co-signed by SMEunited.

Continuing the exchange with Eurofound’s Peter Kerckhofs on the latest #representativeness study and its outcomes. #SMEs employ 69% of the #workforce in the EU, and thus have a central role to play!

Focusing next on how to improve the representativeness of #SME #employer organisations, Andrew Aquilina from the Maltese Chamber of SMEs presented the awareness-raising campaign and best practices on the added value of #socialdialogue for #SMEs.

A roundtable with our members showcases how to make successful use of the template campaign developed within the scope of the project. The campaign elaborates on the added value of #socialdialogue and its benefits for #SMEs!
