Team Pro Single Shot Probe Cover mentions many “what if” scenarios but no evidence that properly cleaned probes without covers ⬆️ risk infection with single shot blocks. That’s because there are no evidence-based studies demonstrating superiority of probe covers in this context

This dramatic picture is catchy but very misleading. How is anything possibly dirty? Because it wasn’t cleaned in the first place #Ewww 🤢 Then again, why would you wipe down a probe if you use a sheath? Does this magic sleeve make everything sterile?

$3.50 a pop is not so expensive, right ? What if we multiply that by hundreds of thousands of blocks? The global ultrasound probe covers market revenue was estimated to be worth US $213 million in 2022 💸💸💸

Speaking of 💸, industry recently introduced short length probe covers for single shot blocks. There is no evidence-based need for this product to exist.
