Over the next few weeks we're taking time to spotlight each of our dancers. We caught up with them to ask why they dance & what VERVE has meant to them so far First up is Annarose Attamian "VERVE feels like being washed in the beauty of 18 generous artists every single day."

Our second dancer is Louis Baxter "VERVE has been a melting pot of creativity and artistry that has allowed me to develop a movement identity that feels very personal to me and reflects myself as an individual outside of dance."

Next up is Pierpaolo Cosentino "I came here for a reason that isn't the same as how I feel now when I look at VERVE. I just came here with the aim of improving my skills, which was strictly related to my career. When I look at VERVE now, I just see a place filled with love."

Say hello to Chiara Duccini "VERVE taught me to celebrate the ever-changing nature of dance & art. It gave me the opportunity to explore my dancing body as a young, vulnerable & curious artist. VERVE to me is growth & it has supported me throughout this whole journey"

Next up is Anna Faustino "First, VERVE brought me clarity on what it means to be a professional & confirmed that it is the career I want to pursue. But mainly, it brought me a space led by love, passion & commitment."

Get to know Silas Grocott-Cain "I've learned so much from the people I've been surrounded with over the past year. I've also learned so much about myself that I wasn't expecting to. It's been a really exciting experience to learn what I want from myself as an artist."

Meet Lucy Harries "What has VERVE given to me? To put it simply, and a smidge soppy, VERVE has given me beautiful friends that will never get rid of me, an exciting dip into the professional life, and a warm heart that is overflowing with love, value and appreciation."

Our next company dancer is Kaiya Jay Butler "VERVE has been a year that I will always hold close to my heart. It's really special to see myself reflected in such a variety of works and it has opened my mind to how I see myself as an artist."

Say hello to Elizabeth Ortega "VERVE has been an eye-opening journey in many ways & I think the biggest takeaway I've had from it has been having a safe space to explore different facets of myself as both a person & dancer."

Next up is Leelou Lancel "VERVE has given me the space to explore the unlimited boundaries of my body. I've felt an endless inspiration from the safe environment that Matteo has created and I can feel my soul warming whilst thinking about this whole journey."

Meet Maelle Le Pallec "During my time in VERVE I have grown and been nourished by people that are curious and open about the same art that I cherish. It makes you want to share more of your creativity and let yourself be inspired by each other."

Next up as we profile our company dancers is Nahyeon Pak "Each of VERVE's dancers has their own unique personality and I get a lot of inspiration each time I dance with them. VERVE has inspired and encouraged me and has taught me the value of coming together."

Say hello to Emma Poyer "I learned new approaches to work and new approaches to dance as well. Sometimes the movement doesn't matter, it's the story that you build behind it and how you use your personal experience. It's all those little details that I learned through VERVE."
