I just realized that the Haunted Castle remake included in the Castlevania DS Collection technically counts as a new entry in the series since Lords of Shadow 2

I don't have much to say, the Haunted Castle remake included in the new Castlevania Collection is damn good. It's a short linear classicvania in it's purest form with a great soundtrack included in the package. Take a listen at this new remix of Bloody Tears:

Finishing Haunted Castle Revisited made me want a new version of Castlevania Legends made by M2. Sonia Belmont needs a second chance.

One thing I've noticed about the Castlevania Dominus Collection: The Nintendo DS games are running at a much higher internal resolution compared to their original releases, you can easily notice by comparing the 3D enviroments Makes me wonder if this is a port or an emulator

I don't know for how long this site will stay up so I'm going to say right away that you guys should play Ghost in the Shell for the PS1, I finished it yesterday and it's among the best arcade run and gun games on the system, it's awesome.

Tip for who's going to emulate it: GITS runs at 30fps, but it's one of those games where the framerate is unlocked, doing an overclock allows you to run at locked 60fps, a 280% overclock on Duckstation does the trick. It's also one of the few PS1 games with native widescreen

The PC version of Path of Neo in particular is the worst port, it's the uglyest version of the game all arround plagued with graphical glitches
