A big shout-out to local man Tony Howarth who completed the London Marathon dressed as the iconic Blackpool Tower

From today, trams will be live on the Talbot Road tramway extension at various times of day while testing is carried out.

The extension to the tramway will connect North Station to the Promenade, providing a direct link to shops, hotels and leisure attractions.

Their aim is to collect more litter on this day than all of 2023.
