Comments on @DDOTD’s 15th/RIA NOI are due TOMORROW. I’m glad to see the elimination of driver lefts and new median, but I’m unsure why median installs on RIA are so conservative. They closed nearly a third-mile of NYA’s median by North Cap in 2021 through quick-build components.

We need to incentivize more forward-thinking retail provisioning (and less ground-floor parking).

The federal Height Act is holding D.C. back, particularly in our downtown. I will work hard after I'm elected in November to repeal it and let the D.C. Council make decisions on building height that reflect the views of actual Washingtonians

The claim that DC has a higher tax burden that neighbor jurisdictions is simply not true. We have significantly lower property taxes, and our income taxes are below average for most brackets. ora-cfo.dc.gov/sites/default/…
