California is sending our most sincere condolences to the family of Fire Apparatus Engineer Christopher Ward and the entire CAL FIRE team. After serving CAL FIRE for more than four years, we are deeply grateful for his outstanding bravery and dedication to protecting others.

So proud that California is the first state in the nation to utilize the mighty C-130s to fight wildfires. The C-130s hold 5X the fire retardant of our next largest planes. Another way CAL FIRE is working to keep us all safe.🙏🏼
