This RR strike and union bashing got me wondering, what do non union employees do if they aren't treated fairly or asked to do unsafe working conditions? Would it help if RR were non union?

Worth remembering that the Harper government legislated locomotive engineers and conductors back to work in 2012 over issues of health and safety on the rail lines. Here we are a decade later and the issues have still not been addressed.
