Awesome use of NATS.io

Have you ever seen a metric that reported that a NATS Server was running for +200 years? We found it was due to wrong usage of time.Now().UTC() in the server in some places... 😓 Byron Ruth explains this gotcha nicely in this post.

This is so incredibly cool and kudos to the NATS team for building this. Managing the k3s state at the edge is the most difficult problem and this makes it trivial. So cool.

GOMEMLIMIT env var is part of Go 1.19 release! This should help a lot Go applications running in containers with cgroups mem limits (e.g. in Kubernetes). There is a useful guide too: go.dev/doc/gc-guide
