Hello Everyone! Meet Keith the big bear!🐻 Named after the lovely person who kindly donated him to our ward. Over the next few weeks we will be following keith on his adventures around Nottingham Children’s Hospital and NNU!🎉 See you Tomorrow for day one!💕

Today Keith has visited Tracey, D34’s receptionist 🐻 Tracey showed Keith how she admits patients coming in for surgery and the amazing work she does day to day! Keith really enjoyed his time with Tracey, even if his paws were a little too big to type on the keyboard 😂

Day 2 of Keith’s adventure! 🐻 Every patient gets a wristband when they come into hospital. It has all the very important details we need on them!😊 Lakveer and Lucy gave Keith his very own wristband today! He was very happy to get a wristband, with his name on!😊

Today Keith enjoyed learning all about how we take observations by one of our nurses Becky 🐻 Which we do regularly when someone is in hospital. Becky even did a full set of observations on Keith and gave him a clean bill of health 😊

We found Keith having lots of fun in D34’s playroom today, with one of our amazing play specialists Lisa! 🐻 He found all the fun and interactive toys and even had a few games of football table!⚽️

Today Keith got his height and weight done by Nimi and Anna!🐻 When someone comes in for surgery we do a height and weight on admission, this helps us with medicine calculations!💊 Kieth also hopes everyone has a happy and safe bank holiday weekend!😊

We are so proud of our wonderful nurse, Ellie, as she received a DAISY Award last week. She is a fantastic member of our D34 team, and it's great that the amazing care she gives to all the patients and families she looks after has been recognised. @TeamNUH Nottingham Children’s Hospital and NNU #proud
