1. Memecoins shape the public’s view to make crypto look like a casino

2. Their adoption is the result of VCs funding unlimited tokens that don’t do anything new (dex forks, endless infrastructure “modular” coins, etc.)

Solving #2 will solve #1 if VCs really hate memes so much

If you run a VC fund and your mandate forces you to invest only in midcurve trash instead of memecoins, simply encourage your midcurve portco founders to ape treasury in memecoins.

If you are up, LPs don’t care. If you are down, blame the founders for misappropriation.

Been thinking about this a bit (even though I'm obviously not launching a token).

Theoretically, the fairest way of doing this would probably be some sort of auction of the insider tokens so there can be substantive decentralization?
