Showers and storms will be possible for the next several hours. Already seeing some lightning off to our west in Indiana.

10:20am radar check. Severe storm continues to be just out of our area but producing gusty winds and heavy rain with lots of lightning. Also keeping an eye on storm in Franklin County, Indiana. Past radar scans have showed some minor rotation trying to happen.

9 FIRST WARNING: A Severe Thunderstorm Warning has been issued for parts of Mason, Brown, and Adams county in effect until 4:30pm. 60 MPH winds are the main threat

2:45pm look at the radar and we're starting to see more pockets of downpours and storms. It's a beautiful sight as drought conditions worsen each day.

With drought conditions worsening by the day, this was some MUCH NEEDED rain we got today.. Bad news? No good rain chances for potentially 10+ days.

DROUGHT RELIEF? Each long range model that comes out has unfortunately decreased our rain chances for the weekend. Baring a big shift in Francine we might miss out on most of the rain. WCPO 9
