*go Sigh. Sometimes when things are just devastating in obstetrics the only choice we can give someone is how they want the plane to crash. And now in many places we can’t even do that.

Child Psychiatrist here. Overturning Roe versus Wade will kill children, no not talking about the balls of cells/ embryos, but the children forced to give birth. Maternal mortality will rise and suicide will rise.

So basically any gathering in the US, you have to think - what’s the risk we could be shot? This is so far from freedom.

What breaks my heart as a child psychiatrist? Parents that aren’t willing to *try* to change for their child. It’s never just a child that’s the problem. #nobadkids

Can we talk about how people who work with children are the most underpaid? Teachers ✔️ Pediatricians ✔️. How can we say we value our children but not actually value the people that care for our children.

PSA: If you have children and take photos of them or you - watch your reaction! Comment on the emotion, the action NOT anyone’s appearance. Eg Horrifically bad angle of mom = “I look so happy there” - photos are to capture memories and moments NOT your perfect reflection.
