#AB2123, sponsored by LAAW and authored by Assemblymember Diane Papan, allows employees to start using their Paid Family Leave as soon as they qualify and not have to use accrued vacation first. #AB2123 has passed off the Senate floor and is headed to the governor’s desk.

Trying to fill out a pile of paperwork when you have just given birth is not awesome. SB 1090 is a very commonsense measure to help new parents plan for taking time to recover from birth and bond with their new baby.
