Trying to fill out a pile of paperwork when you have just given birth is not awesome. SB 1090 is a very commonsense measure to help new parents plan for taking time to recover from birth and bond with their new baby.

We were so happy to join BreastfeedLA and Coalition partners at “Birthing Boldly, Fearlessly Feeding" last week!  Coalition staff, Jasmine Amian and Angelica Andrade, facilitated an interactive role-play session on effective advocacy in the workplace and with legislators.

We were so happy to join <a href="/BreastfeedLA/">BreastfeedLA</a> and Coalition partners at “Birthing Boldly, Fearlessly Feeding" last week!

The last day that Governor Newsom can sign SB 1090 is September 30th! Please take action to let the Governor know that Californians should be able to apply in advance for Paid Family Leave and State Disability Insurance. workfamilyca.org/apply-early
