It's the 25th anniversary of 'Star Wars Episode I - The Phantom Menace.'

Here's my look at its most important legacy: Being the single most-hyped movie event ever, a moment that redefined everything from toys to teasers to online journalism.

In speaking to people involved, Iā€™m told those are among the factors in the decision making process. Both Woodcroft and Keefe are young and have coached superstars as well - which is also paramount. These 2 are among top remaining HC finalists for New Jersey Devils .

Scottie Scheffler throwing up a 66 when his day started in this fashion has gotta be one of the all-time demoralizes for everyone he competes against. Guy was in the clink, in the most chaotic situation, and still had a better round than most of the guys šŸ˜‚

Agree on Pesce, RH stalwart defender in his prime (made $4M AAV), but overall Carolina's blue line: Pesce, Chatfield, Skjei & DeAngelo are all UFA, and Slavin, Burns & Orlov have one year left on their deals. Don Waddell's got his work cut out.

The Carolina Hurricanes loss could be the end of Brett Pesce in Carolina.

Heā€™s a UFA & better than any right-shot D option in the market. Turns 30 in Nov.

Heard heā€™s looking for term. Real ā€œpiece of a championship puzzleā€ guy on the right team. (And that team might still be the Canes...)

The Hurricanes outscored the Rangers at 5-on-5 and New York had an expected goals percentage of 48.3% at evens.

Iā€™ve been reading police reports for many years. Canā€™t remember seeing a sentence like this, ever: ā€œDetective Gillisā€™ uniform pants, valued at approximately $80, were damaged beyond repair.ā€

The Hurricanes talked around it last night, but I don't think it's incorrect to say that Freddie Andersen cost them a Game 7.

An .826 sv %, minus-1.18 goals saved above expected, and two absolutely brutal goals allowed that gave the Rangers life both times.

On THE DROP, we delved into the mad genius that is the ArtButMakeItSports account, who told us that hockey is especially difficult to do.

Although he nailed this Brady Tkachuk comparison. šŸ˜‚

Chris Kreider told teammates had had a goal in him for the third period of Game 6. Turns out he had three, in a row, during a 'monster' performance that made NHL history.

On the soft-spoken x - New York Rangers star's huge night:
