It's the end of an era. Thank you to Sophie Crankers, Tom Waltz, IDW Publishing and the team for all the work they put into these first 150 (plus crossover) issues of TMNT. I wandered into the comics section of a random book store in 2011 (during the most turbulent time of my life).

What a stellar run by Sophie Crankers Those times in Mutant City were some of my favourites moments in the whole series going all the way back to 2012. Just amazing work with these characters and doing such wonders Alopex, Lita, and Jennika.

Congrats to my old friend Sophie Crankers for finishing a 50-issue solo writing run on TMNT, a feat never before accomplished! And 150 issues from Ronda Pattison and shawn lee??? Incredible! So proud of all of you!

Yesterday, my kid wanted to stop and B&N to get a manga and look what he noticed Mr Jamps ☕ 🍩 TAKA OGN OUT MARCH 2024!! He picked it up I suppose because it caught his eye. Only after he had it, I excitedly snatched it from him to brag that my friend had drawn it (if that’s not too presumptuous)

The oldest of my brothers had this and it’s almost certainly the first video game to make a lasting impression on me. Even though I draw comics, video games have had more impact, influence and held more fascination for me artistically than comics ever have.
