We have arrived in London Monksdown Primary

We had a great time on Friday at our Year 6 BBQ, fun, games, burgers, laughs and memories made.

Tomorrow one of our wonderful #class63 children is leaving not only our school but also the country. Today seemed like the right day to hand out the (what has become) traditional 6.3 friendship bracelet. A reminder of a place, time and group that you will ways belong.

Today this young lady said goodbye to Monksdown Primary for the very last time. We will miss you so much and wish you all of the luck in the world on your new adventure. Goodbye, thank you for being amazing!

We have had an amazing day at Norris Green Park, den building, team games, problem-solving, orienteering and finished with a fire pit. Monksdown Primary

#class62 ready for the year ahead.

What a gorgeous start to the year, #class62 have worked so hard already showing off their skills and what lovely children they are. I know it is going to be a great year.

#class62 took some time to research the rights of the child, wonderful discussions and understandings of who have the rights and who has the duty to protect these rights. We have started our art projects ready to share with the rest of the school. UNICEF

I think this is going to be one of #class62 favourite times of the week. 30 minutes of relaxation, calm, lost in our books with the added excitement of torches. Monksdown Reads
