For over 25 years Hospice Vaughan has provided compassionate care to those living with life-limiting illness or suffering grief. With the support of our members & Civilian Director Sonia Facchini we donated $500 to their community hospice care as part of our #GiveBack program.

Our #HeroesInLife will always been remembered. On Sunday, September 29 at 11:00am, we join Canadian Police & Peace Officers Memorial to pay tribute to those that we have lost in the line of duty. The Reading of Names will start at 9:00am. The service will broadcast live at: CPPOM.ca/Live

We will never forget Constable Douglas Tribbling who died on Aug 21, 1984. He was 49 years old with only two years until retirement, and the first York Regional Police officer to be killed in the line of duty. He began his career with Markham Township Police in 1956. Our #HeroesInLife.

Today we had the honour of hosting 200 riders from Canada 911 Ride Foundation as they wrapped up their 3-day ride, raising funds to support families of fallen emergency responders, victims of violent crimes & collaborating with the Mikey Network to increase public access to defibrillators.
