Yesterday we had our 'Go and Whoa' foods nutrition session and made collages of the different foods 🥕 Afterwards we had a visit from Elan Valley’s Pop-up Planetarium. It was so interesting, and the children learned lots about the stars and planets ⭐ #foodandfunwales Powys County Council

Today, we discussed sugar in different foods followed by a brilliant session of cricket delivered by Paul from Criced Cymru / Cricket Wales 🏏🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 🏏After our family lunch St Johns Ambulance attended and explained first aid 🚑 Thank you to everyone who came today! Today we designed our very own healthy breakfasts and afterwards we had the brilliant Craven's Crawlies showing us his exotic creatures. We had some very brave children🕷️🦎 Also, we were able to provide all of our families with food bags to take home 😀 Food and Fun Wales Powys County Council

"Food and Fun" is Addysg CS Powys / Powys CC Education main Welsh Government funded summer scheme at 7 schools with high FSM pupils. Run over 20 days it provides nutrition focused learning, a hot meal and free fun. Buddy here was the star of "creepy crawlies" the fun part yesterday at Ysgol Trefonnen

What a great last day at Food and Fun! After some food art 🍎🍌 we painted and decorated insect houses🎨 🐛🐞 before having some fun on the bungee run! Luckily the rain held off for us this afternoon so that we could enjoy our annual family picnic 😀 Food and Fun Wales Powys County Council
