Loaded Jumps can touch well over 2 m/s. Multiples faster than any Olympic variant does. Use that information as you please.

Want to drive strength adaptations faster? Give athletes 4-6 minute rest breaks between working sets. This is the right amount of time to ensure recovery between high output sets. Just like proper speed training, quality drops as fatigue rises. Get more out of your sets 📈💪🏻

I think most athletes respond best using three sets of brief maximal tension. I have used upwards of five sets and as low as one. Three is the ideal.

Elevating the Heel has nothing to do with the “Form” and everything to do with Knee Flexion. More Knee Flexion, better transfer to Accelerative Measures. We elevate the heel because there’s better carryover to our Jumps and Short Distance Sprints.

Absolute strength sets the boundaries for all rapid force display. When you develop greater absolute strength and pair that with frequent exposures to high velocities… You predictably create more explosive athletes. This is the secret 🤫🔑

Athletes enjoy Lower Reps more than Higher Reps. This creates more interest, adherence, buy-in and ultimately positive results. But don’t take it from me, literally watch the difference in training intention. Very easy to see.

Slow and Weak Athletes don’t understand the importance of rest. Strong and Fast Athletes understand the importance of rest. There may be something there 👀
