Great to swing by Zero Malaria Britain’s stall in Hitchin yesterday to discuss the leading role UK science can play in helping to eliminate malaria across the world.
🚗 We were in Guisborough this morning where Luke Myer MP 🇬🇧, Labour MP for Middlesbrough South and East Cleveland, met with us to hear about the life-saving power of British science and the role it can play in ending malaria! 🇬🇧🦟

It was great to meet with new MPs last week to discuss how UK leadership can support multilateral partnerships. Organisations such as The Global Fund and Gavi, the Vaccine Alliance are vital to saving lives, improve gender equality, & unlocking economic opportunity! 🇬🇧🌍
I met Dr Sania Nishtar to reaffirm our commitment to @Gavi and global vaccine access #ForOurFuture. As one of its largest donors, the UK has helped Gavi vaccinate over 1 billion children. Our partnership is also vital to tackling mpox, supporting the vaccine rollout in Africa.
