One of the strategies for monitoring Economic Social and Cultural Rights is the need to come up with recommendations that are informed by realities on the ground. This entails engaging communities, stakeholders and state institutions to understand the challenges of the citizenry.

A NHRI can engage state institutions with realistic recommendations on how to continue improving the rights of the people including the vulnerable and marginalized to realise ESCR, participants at a RWI Zimbabwe Human Rights Capacity Development, funded by Sweden learnt.

Today, the Zimbabwe Human Rights Commission had an opportunity opportunity to attend the Launch of the Human Development Report for 2023/2024. The Report was titled " Breaking the Gridlock: Reimagining cooperation in a polarized world". The meeting was organized by the UNDP.
