Happy and proud to announce that our recent paper on clusters in ANCA-associated vasculitis (AAV) was published yesterday in The Lancet Rheumatology. Using an unprecedented large cohort of 3,868 patients, we confirmed that AAV is not merely a binary construct! FAIRVASC

Karl Gisslander et al. identified 5 clusters of AAV, 3 of which characterized by kidney involvement. Compared with clinical diagnosis or ANCA status, cluster-based models showed improved predictive power for both patient and kidney survival. FAIRVASC The Lancet Rheumatology

Excited to share that our study on IV methylprednisolone in GCA is now published in Rheumatology (Oxford). In 419 patients, IVMP increased 1st-year diabetes risk, showed no visual recovery benefit, and didn't speed up oral steroid tapering. DOI: 10.1093/rheumatology/keae459
