I was on a trip to New York City last week and took this express train to the Bronx. It saved me a lot of time by skipping many stations in Manhattan but then stopped at every station in the Bronx. NYC has more express train options since it has more than two tracks. #wmata #mta

We learned today Metro will explore running an express train on the future Silver Line extension.
It would skip stations between Reston & Rosslyn & make trips between DC & Ashburn or Dulles 4-6 mins faster.
Since #wmata only has 2 tracks it has very limited express train options.
