Existing solar under FiT costs >£193/MWh. Activated solar CfDs >£110/MWh. New solar under AR6 costs £70/MWh at 2024 prices. All more expensive than recent market rates of £65/MWh. Plus you need to add in backup costs for when the sun isn't shining. Ed is putting our bills up.
