We are on strike because College of the Canyons added nearly $3 million to its cash reserves by canceling “under-enrolled” classes, leading to a 25% reduction in adjunct faculty. Bad for students, bad for adjuncts!

Organizing adjunct faculty to demand living wages and job security is incredibly difficult. People constantly threatened with being fired, barely making ends meet, aren't naturally hopeful. But when they decide enough is enough, they can bring their schools to their knees.
