9/17/60 – Although 94 degrees on the field at kickoff, opened 1960 with a 39-0 shut out of Colorado State in front of an opening night record 28,000 at Sun Devil Stadium. ASU rushed for 450yds and fumbled 5 times, including twice within the red zone in the 1Q.
