[Rabbi innī limā anzalta ilayya min khayrin faqīr]

My Lord! I am indeed needy of whatever good You may send to me

If only you knew the success “Istighfar” and “Rabbi inni lima anzalta illaya min khayrin faqeer' brings you'll be surprised.

There’s an Arabic saying;

“Keep your house clean like you’re like expecting guests, and keep your heart clean like you’re expecting death.”

In surah al-Fatihah, Allah teaches the believers to say:

[اهْدِنَا الصِّرَاطَ الْمُسْتَقِيمَ]

“Guide us to the straight path.” [1:6]

Commenting on this supplication, ibn Taymiyah wrote:

A slave is always in need for Allah to guide him to the straight path, so likewise he is…

“Allāh promises you forgiveness from Him.”

“Letting one’s heart wander in the garden of the Quran, seeking consolation in it from every calamity, seeking healing in it from all diseases of the heart, so that it will bring comfort to his grief and healing for his worries and distress.”
